Kell, Alterman & Runstein, L.L.P.’s energy practice traces its roots to 1929, when Gus Solomon established the firm. Solomon supported creating a public-utility district in Portland, along with developing the Columbia River hydrosystem. In 1939, the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) was created, and Solomon became the liaison between the public-power movement and the BPA.

Today, our energy attorneys continue to build on Solomon’s legacy. Kell, Alterman & Runstein, L.L.P. helps clients develop projects and comply with complex energy law regimes without compromising their business priorities.
