Kinleigh Jones

Kinleigh Jones is an associate with the Workers' Compensation practice group at Kell, Alterman & Runstein. She helps employers and third-party administrators navigate the complexities of their workers' compensation claims.

Kinleigh is a graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law, where she was involved in various executive boards, including Women's Law Forum, OUTLaws, and the Law and Entrepreneurship Student Association.

While in law school, Kinleigh interned for Lane County, Oregon’s County Counsel. Her work for County Counsel included assisting in civil litigation, navigating dispute resolution with Union Representatives, and researching contract issues on behalf of the county. In her final year of law school, Kinleigh served as an extern for the General Counsel of Central City Concern, a significant participant in Portland’s non-profit community.

Kinleigh holds an undergraduate degree in History with a minor in Political Science from the University of Oregon. Before attending law school, Kinleigh worked as a litigation paralegal for a large law firm in downtown San Jose, California, which inspired her to pursue a legal career. In high school, she worked as dance instructor in the small, rural town in which she grew up, teaching toddlers the finer points of ballet, jazz and tap.

She currently lives in downtown Portland with her partner.
