Wayne Palmer – In Memoriam

Kell, Alterman & Runstein, L.L.P. grieves the passing of our partner and friend Wayne Palmer. Wayne passed away on March 19, 2016. His leadership and abilities as an attorney helped shape the culture and business of the firm for over 35 years. Wayne always brought the best of himself to his law practice by contributing his good counsel and kindness.

Wayne joined Kell, Alterman & Runstein, L.L.P. after serving as a legal intern for the District Attorney, where he attracted the attention of the firm. In the three-plus decades that followed, he developed reputation for his detail-oriented approach and receptive attitude, which he employed to find equitable, reasonable solutions for client disputes. He was known for even-handedness, integrity, and a relaxed, friendly manner that kept his business and family clients composed during more difficult contests.

When relaxing from his law practice, Wayne was an avid outdoorsman, taking special pleasure in rafting, camping and hiking throughout the northwest. He also enjoyed coaching his children’s sporting events and spending time with his family and large circle of friends.

He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and professional colleagues.
